At GlassesEtc.com, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. That's why unlike other websites, we allow our customers to purchase up to three sunglasses/eyeglasses to try on for color/fit.
You must contact us via email at Help@GlassesEtc.com before sending any products back for a return or exchange.
Returns must be received within 30 days upon receipt of the product(s) and must be returned in the same condition as it was received; clean and void of any chips or damage to the lenses or frame. This includes any alterations/damages done by yourself or any third party, including your local Optician. Frames returned damaged or modified from their original condition are not eligible for return.
Packages received after 30 days from date of delivery are no longer available for return or store credit and will be returned to sender (at the senders cost).
You may return the item(s) using your preferred courier service or a USPS Return Shipping label can be emailed to you. The cost for the label is $9.95 which will be deducted from the total amount eligible for refund.
Packages that are denied by receiver and automatically returned to GlassesEtc.com are no longer eligible for a refund. The items we send are ordered custom from the manufacturer and/or have custom lenses installed. Thus, denied packages are charged and are not eligible for refunds.
Once your return is received and inspected by the fulfillment center (usually within 72 business hours of receipt), your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take additional 3-5 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.
Shipping and Gift Wrap costs are non-refundable in all cases.
International Customers: GlassesEtc.com does not provide Return labels for international, non-continental US orders (PR, AK and HI) and military addresses.
Frames damaged in transit from GlassesEtc.com to our customers will be repaired/replaced free of charge (valid within the continental US only). Please contact us by phone/email within 7 days of receipt to report the issue and arrange for repair/frame replacement. Customers wishing to proceed with a refund instead are subject to our restocking fees.
Customers can receive a one time free exchange on up to 3 frames or 6 month store credit (if returned within 30 days of delivery) when returned with the designer case and in condition for resale (and after receiving an RA number via phone/email/chat). Exchanges may be made for a different style, size or color.
Return item(s) and use eligible credit towards your new frame choice: We will wait until your return arrives for processing before shipping out your new frame choice. Applicable fees will be deducted from amount eligible for refund and the remaining balance will be used towards your new frame choice. Customers are responsible for paying any price difference associated with the exchange.
Place a new order for your new frame choice: Your new order will be processed and shipped in 1-3 business days, unless product(s) are not readily available (out of stock, back order, etc). Once your package arrives it will be treated as a return and the eligible refund amount will be issued within 72 business hours of receipt. Unless requested, replacement/exchanged frames will be shipped using Ground Service at a cost of $5.95. Other shipping methods such as USPS Priority 2-3 Day, FedEx 2nd-day or FedEx Next Day Air are available at additional cost.
We encourage our customers to try on frames for fit and style. If you wish to try on a frame with demo lenses and then return it for prescription lenses installation, please contact us via email at Help@GlassesEtc.com.
You will be provided with a FREE USPS Return Shipping Label* via email and as you are returning the frame for prescription lenses installation, our standard restocking fee of 10% per frame or $9.95 (whichever is greater), will be waived. Your cost will be exclusively with the shipping of the complete glasses back to you, which starts at $5.95 for Ground Shipping (5-7 Business Days).

We only use high quality brands such as Essilor and, Varilux for prescription lens orders. We never cast our own lenses like other online vision retailers. We stand behind our work and want you to be 100% satisfied with your order.
We guarantee to fill your prescription to the exact specifications you provide us. All prescription eyeglasses undergo precise final inspection for prescription accuracy, frame symmetry, and materials before it is shipped out. If you received a prescription order that you believe was filled incorrectly, please contact us immediately. You will be asked to ship the frame back to us for inspection and if they are not 100% accurate we will replace the prescription lenses and ship them back to you via ground service at no charge.
Since each lens is made to your specific prescription and cut for a particular frame, all prescription lens returns/exchanges are subject to the restocking fees mentioned above (your card is charged once the job begins in the lab).
If incorrect prescription lenses are sent to customer, we will redo them for free, including shipping (if found to be in our error).
The manufacturer warranty expires 365 days from date of purchase (customer must pay for return postage, plus $19.95 for S&H)
