At GlassesEtc.com, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. That's why unlike other websites, we allow our customers to purchase up to three sunglasses/eyeglasses for color/fit. However, please be aware that GlassesEtc.com charges a $7.95 per frame restocking fee on products returned to our warehouse. Shipping costs are non-refundable. The restocking fee is waived on orders that are sent back to add prescription lenses. Replacement/Exchanged frames are shipped using USPS Priority Service at a cost of $6.75 per order. Of course, exchanged frames can always be shipped via our other shipping options including Fed Ex 3-day, 2-day, and overnight shipping at an additional cost.

All orders are eligible for a return or exchange if they are returned within 14 days from the date of delivery. Simply contact us via e-mail or phone to receive your FedEx Ground return shipping label, which you can easily print and affix to your return box (the cost for this service is $6.95). You must contact us via email at help@glassesetc.com or phone before sending any products back for return or exchange. If we e-mail you a return shipping label, please attach the label in a clear spot and mark the outside of the box with your order number (as it appears in your confirmation email).

Once products from GlassesEtc.com have been modified from their original condition, they are not eligible for a return. This includes any alterations done by a third party, including your local optician. For this reason, we encourage our customers to contact our support staff if there is an issue regarding a product or if repair is necessary. We stand by the quality of our work and will do our best to ensure that your experience with GlassesEtc.com is a good one.

Prescription Orders

We encourage our customers to try on frames for fit and style. If a customer wishes to try on a frame with no lenses and then return the frame to have us add prescription lenses - we will waive the cost for our easy return FedEx label and charge just $6.75 to reship your frame with the prescription lenses installed.

We only use high quality brands such as Hoya and Varilux for prescription orders. Therefore, we guarantee to fill your prescription to the exact specifications you provide us. If you receive a prescription order that you believe to be filled incorrectly, our opticians will inspect them, and if they are not 100% accurate we will replace them at no charge. We stand behind our work and want you, our loyal customers, to be 100% satisfied with your order.

Since each lens is made to your specific prescription and cut for a particular frame, all prescription lens exchanges are subject to the following restocking fees (in cases where the prescription was filled correctly and the item is being returned due to fit or look of the frame):

If you decide to ship your frame(s) back using your preferred courier service, please make sure to use a courier that provides tracking information and insure the package for the full amount of your order. All items shipped back to GlassesEtc.com must include signature confirmation (to prevent the loss of items in shipment). GlassesEtc.com is not responsible for returned items that are lost in shipment. Please include all original packaging material and mail your return frame(s) to the following address:

In your return box please include the following:

1. The items you wish to return in their original cases with no defects or damage. Please take care of any merchandise that you are "undecided" about by making certain to keep any frame in its original case at all times and to use both hands when taking the frame on and off your head.

2. Include the receipt in your box which includes your order number. If you no longer have the receipt, please note the last 4 digits of your order number, (as provided in your confirmation email and in your shipment), on the outside of the box.

Exchange frames will be shipped out within 3 business days of receipt of your original frame(s). Unless requested, replacement/exchanged frames will be shipped using USPS Priority Service at a cost of $6.75 per order.

Returns must be postmarked within 14 days upon receipt of the product(s). The item must be returned in the same condition as it was sent; clean and void of any chips or damage to the lenses or frame. Any product that is returned chipped or damaged will result in a 50% restocking fee. Items that have undergone major damage and cannot be resold or returned to the manufacturer will not be eligible for return. Items postmarked after 14 days are not eligible for return.
